Dalila is a supporting character in Disney's upcoming animated feature film The Continent. She is a female lioness that is Binamu's mother who also raises her maternal nephews Asani and Ndugu after her sister died.
Dalila is shown to be very motherly and caring to everyone, including her son, Binamu and her nephews Asani and Ndugu after her sister Safia, the mother of the duo was killed during their early childhood, and would do anything for them, even promising her own sister that she look out for them no matter what.
