Deputy Peck is a woodpecker and the sheriff's deputy of Nice and Friendly Corners. He wears a brown kepi as well as a vest with a shiny deputy badge. He is good at whistling, sweeping the jail house, playing horseshoes, and serving as second in command to Sheriff Callie, but he is a bit of a bragger and a total neat freak. Peck and Toby are best buddies, and Peck will always stand up for his cactus pal. Peck's favorite food is trail mix, and he tends to end sentences with "...on account of I'm the deputy!" as well as say "Holy Jalepeños!".
