Dixon Ranch

Dixon Ranch is a location seen in Home on the Range.

History

It is a farm, owned by Abner Dixon, where Maggie used to live until Alameda Slim stole the entire cattle by simply yodeling. After that, Abner couldn't afford to keep Maggie anymore, so she was brought to Little Patch of Heaven, owned by Pearl Gesner, and taken in by Pearl herself. Abner's farm was later sold to Slim under his disguise as Yancy O'Del. It is unknown what happened to the Dixon Ranch after Alameda Slim had been arrested when he tried to buy Little Patch of Heaven.
