Gamada is a major character in Disney's upcoming animated feature film The Royal Nigerian. He is the elder shaman of the royal family of Nigeria in the kingdom of Mukanda. His abilities are to make people happy by showing them spiritual animals made by him and having visions of the future when he discovers that the only one who can protect its people from a tyranny is the rightful heir to the throne, Hasani.
