James Christopher "Jim" Gaffigan is an American actor, voice actor, stand-up comedian, writer, and producer. He is best known for his material that often addresses fatherhood, laziness, food, religion, and general observations. He is also regarded as a "clean comic", as he rarely ever uses profanity in his routines. Additionally, he is known for voicing Henry Haber in the Fox animated sitcom Bob's Burgers and Abraham Van Helsing in Sony Pictures' Hotel Transylvania franchise.
Aside from his above intel, he has appeared in numerous films, such as 13 Going on 30, The Love Guru, 17 Again, Away We Go, It's Kind of a Funny Story, and Duck Duck Goose. On television, he starred in That 70's Show, My Boys, WordGirl, Portlandia, Stargirl, as well as his own series The Jim Gaffigan Show.
For Disney, he voiced Father Time in Star vs. the Forces of Evil and Lorenzo Paguro in Disney/Pixar's 2021 film Luca. He also played Mr. Smee in the 2023 live-action remake Peter Pan & Wendy.
