John Winfield Stephenson was an American actor and voice actor, best known for his role as Mr. Slate in Hanna Barbara's series, The Flintstones.
His Disney roles included Major Synapse in Darkwing Duck, General Bucky Tumult, Professor Crackpotkin, Space Rider Radio Announcer, Uncle Bucky, and additional voices in TaleSpin, Shere Khan in the UK version of "Disney's Greatest Villains", and a lawyer from the second team in Herbie Rides Again.
