Khamadi is a major character in Disney's upcoming animated feature film The Royal Nigerian. He is the wise and powerful king of Mukanda in Nigeria and serves as the father of Hasani who the former must guide to one day take his place as the rightful king and protect their kingdom from Zingatia's tyranny led by his rival Mathius, and has a hard time believing that his son is the only one who can end his reign.

Khamadi's name was originally going to be named Amadau, Kamau and Kamanu.
