Khamani is a supporting character in Disney's upcoming animated feature film The Continent. He is a king who leads a pride full of lions and raises his daughter Tetea to find herself a mate and a successor for their future, despite she's in love with one of the pride's member, Asani.

Despite his no-nonsense and strict attitude, Khamani deeply cares for his pride, including his daughter Tetea who is of course the princess, and for him being a widower and raised her hard to follow her path to rule over the lions in the next generation.
However, his fatherly advices were not taking seriously by his daughter who had no interests in marrying princes from other prides and far away places in Africa.

Khamani was on the top of a hill with the other lions complaining, till he the adolescent ones returned from their training for huntings, and noticed that Ndugu was with them. Khamani shortly berated the young cub for not following laws about his size of joining the older lions, and kinda blames Asani for not making him understand.
