Mbatha Umeadi is a character in Jungle Safari Kareem: Animal Kingdom. She is the African daughter of chieftain and soothsayer Bahati Umeadi, the mother of Akuna Umeadi and a former lover of the American businessman Alcindor Brown who was killed by Nyeupe Jangili during the deduction of her village and capture of her people.

Background[]

Before becoming a mother, Mbatha was a tribe member and daughter of the leader and shaman Bahati, until they were visited by American businessman James Earl Jones Brown, where she became smitten by his son, Alcindor, and the due became very close in their relationship, and made even more romantic.

  • Bahati Umeadi - Bahati is Mbatha's father. It is said that a father-daughter love for each other was strong between Bahati and Mbatha ever since her mother passed away, and he never gave up raising their daughter.
  • Akuna Umeadi - Akuna is Mbatha's son.
  • Alcindor Brown - They were both once in love, and believed that they would belong together after giving birth to their son, Akuna. But both realized that they are too different and not from the same place as they are meant to be, so they both had to part ways, but promise to see each other again. Unfortunately, Alcindor found love with another and American woman named Kalisha, the two got married and gave birth to their son, Kareem who is of course Akuna's half-brother. Sadly, Mbatha was killed during the massacre of her village and hasn't spoken to Alcindor in years.
