Ndugu is a major character in Disney's upcoming animated feature film The Continent. He is a male lion cub that is the younger brother of Asani and maternal cousin of Binamu who wants to see rest of the continent while getting lost and must either find his way home or wait for someone like his brother to come and get him.

Ndugu is very similar to a young Simba in The Lion King (2019). He is a cute little lion cub who is small and has light brown eyes. He is younger than his brother Asani, and is small but stocky, and his fur was slightly fuzzy. Additionally, his eyes were gold. He had golden-brown fur, black lips, a white muzzle, a black tail tuft, and a dark stripe down his forehead.
