In 1969, Disneyland Records released The Songs from The Wizard of Oz with a tagline "Plus songs about the the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion". It is a compilation of songs taken from other Disneyland record sets namely The Story and Songs of The Cowardly Lion of Oz, which was released the same year, and The Story of the Scarecrow of Oz, released in 1965. This album was released specifically for the 30th anniversary of the 1939 film.
