Wayne Anthony Allwine (February 7, 1947 - May 18, 2009) was an American voice actor for Mickey Mouse, making him the third official voice, and a foley artist for the Disney Company, from The All New Mickey Mouse Club in 1977 until his death in 2009. He was also the voice of one of the Thugs in the 1986 film The Great Mouse Detective. He even provided the voice of Bill the Lizard at one point. His final roles as Mickey Mouse was in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode "Goofy Babysitter" and the video game Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Dayswhich were released after his death. He was married to Russi Taylor, who currently voices Minnie Mouse.
